It’s been busy around here!

Guys, we’ve been crazy busy hosting some awesome events, celebrating our third anniversary, and prepping for the holiday season. We’ll give you the brief rundown of what’s been shakin’ with us the past month or more.

-Our store foster cats Ferrous and Waffles got adopted by an awesome lady. We’re happy they found an amazing home together, and Bertha is quite happy to be an only cat in the store again!

-We held the first of what will be MANY Pawject Runways with our friends from Dogs Deserve Better! It was a super cool canine and human fashion show (with the help of our friends from Swank Boutique in downtown Columbia). You can see pictures here, and video from the event here. We were able to raise over $1000 and get two dogs adopted at our inaugural event, which is pretty darn awesome!

-We celebrated our THIRD anniversary of the store – how did three years pass by already?! We are still eternally grateful to all of you for your support, patronage, friendship and general goofiness over the past three years. We’re looking forward to a million more with you and your pets!

-Our foster dog, Jellybean, also got adopted, which is fantastic! He gets to hang out with his new dad and work on the garden all day, which both of them enjoy immensely!

-We celebrated our sweet Ned’s 4th birthday at the store along with Pit Bull Awareness Day. Two new dogs got their Canine Good Citizenship that day, and Ned had lots of fun with his buddies that came to visit him that day! More birthday pictures are here.

-Then, we hosted our annual Halloween party, and raised $400 for Second Chance! Plus we got to see lots of awesome costumes, which we always love!

And finally, a bit of big news. We have a new addition to the family. We got a new foster, but…well…we foster failed.

We’d like to introduce you to Chicken, our 17 month old Boston Terrier/French Bulldog mix! She’s an absolute doll, and you’ll be seeing her around the store quite frequently!

I think that about gets you caught up! We’ll try to be better about not neglecting the blog!
